Last weekend, the Bandera Festival took place, an event that attracted 30,000 people and featured renowned bands such as Babasónicos, El Kuelgue, and Dillom, among others, spread across three stages.
According to the authorities, Rosario reached an 80% hotel occupancy rate due to this prominent festival, generating a significant economic impact with an estimated income of 2.180 billion pesos from tourist commercial activities. Hotels of various categories showed considerable occupancy, with 78% in 5-star hotels, 79% in 4-star hotels, and 70% in 3-star hotels. Additionally, temporary apartment rentals experienced an occupancy of 87% and 88% respectively.
María Becerra joins the list of artists who will perform in Rosario before the year ends. Tickets for the Bandera Festival sold out in advance, with most of the tourism coming from cities such as Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Buenos Aires, and other provinces in the Litoral and Mesopotamia regions.
Rosario solidifies its position as one of the most important cultural hubs in the country, offering a wide range of theatrical, musical, and artistic performances that combine the independent scene with public proposals. Throughout the year, recognized artists such as Fatboy Slim, Manu Chao, Emilia Mernes, Divididos, Abel Pintos, among others, have graced the city.
The end of 2024 promises to keep Rosario at the cultural epicenter of the country, with a calendar that will include presentations from artists like Ciro y Los Persas, Tan Biónica, Wos, Fito Páez, among others, reaffirming its position as an unmissable cultural destination in Argentina.
